About

Hi, I'm Edward Hardison III — I build Harditainment.

I'm a developer based in Nashville, TN, currently studying Electrical & Computer Engineering at Tennessee State University. Harditainment is my freelance studio for website and application development — I like projects where I own the problem end to end, from a client's first idea through a working, shipped product.

My background isn't a straight line through computer science — it runs through engineering coursework, hands-on simulation research, campaign tech work, and self-taught software projects. That mix means I tend to focus as much on whether something actually works for the people using it as on the code itself.

Background

  • Harditainment — 2026–Present — Freelance website & application development, including a full website build for a nonprofit civic organization.
  • Paralegal Intern, Atty. Earl Hilliard — Summer 2026 — Helped manage and improve office workflow.

  • Researcher, Mechadyne C.A.V.E. Laboratory — Tennessee State University — Trained and demonstrated proficiency in a 360° immersive flight simulation environment.
  • Political Intern, John Hilliard City Council Campaign — Built a web scraping tool to analyze donation platforms and surface funding opportunities; ran financial outreach and canvassing.

How I work

Every project starts with a written quote outlining scope, timeline, and price before any work begins, followed by a deposit and milestone-based payments. I keep clients updated with regular check-ins and a working preview throughout the build rather than a single reveal at the end. See Services & Pricing for how that breaks down.
